Systemrescuecd is a Linux rescue system in CD-ROM or USB key to administer or repair your system and data after a crash, without requiring installation (but it can be if you wish). Its purpose is to provide administrative tools on your computer such as creating/editing partition tables. It comes with many linux software such as system tools (parted, partimage, fstools, etc.) from basic editors (editors, midnight commander, network tools). Systemrescuecd can be used for Linux and Windows, on client computers or servers. The kernel supports the main file systems (ext2/ext3/ext4, reiserfs, btrfs, xfs, jfs, vfat, ntfs), as well as network file systems (samba and nfs).
